Every outcome this ranking measures is substantially decided years earlier, at school and at home.PrideShow Editorial Board

UNICEF Thailand's mandate — children's rights and development — puts it upstream of most of this ranking. Family rejection, school bullying and the absence of affirming education are where LGBTQ+ disadvantage in Thailand begins, years before anyone encounters an employer.

Its work on child protection and inclusive education addresses that stage directly, and its convening weight with Thai ministries gives it reach into policy that few civil-society organisations command.

Second at 95 points. The organisation's significance in this edition is less about programme volume than sequence: outcomes measured by every other segment in this ranking — workplace inclusion, health access, economic participation — are substantially determined by what happens to a young person at school and at home.
