Inclusion that evolved through custom rather than policy documents still needs to be written down.PrideShow Editorial Board

Thai Airways has carried visible LGBTQ+ crew representation for longer than most Thai institutions have had a diversity policy, and same-sex partner welfare provisions extend to staff.

As the national flag carrier since 1960, THAI occupies a symbolic position that few other employers do: its cabin crew are among the most internationally visible Thai workers, and the airline's practice has long been read abroad as a signal about the country itself.

Eighth at 81 points. The airline's record is strong on lived practice and thinner on formal disclosure — a common pattern among long-established Thai institutions where inclusion evolved through custom rather than policy documents. Converting that custom into published commitment is the straightforward next step.
